I used to live on the Wabash river come waterfowl season. Had two of the finest retrieving labs within 200 miles. I never shot a coot, trust me on that, sure in hell wanted to but a dried dog turd with alittle mustard on it tastes better...Did that stuff for 35 years... oh for the memories, now that u did clarify that question of mine WELCOME ABOARD.

Yeah, I don't shoot them either. We did as youngsters, but after seeing the dogs refuse to fetch them we figured we would just leave them be as well.
