This arrived a few days ago and I have to say I'm pretty pleased. This is my second CrossBreed--my first is a MiniTuck and the quality is very good.

I ordered the SuperTuck without the "combat cut" figuring I'd save $8 and I'd probably end up carving on it myself anyway. I was right. I trimmed a bunch of leather off the upper portion of the holster in order to allow my hand to grab the grip without having to slide down between leather and the gun. I also trimmed away a bit of kydex around the forward portion of the grip/trigger guard.

It really is a comfortable holster--more so than the Hume 715, but then it costs almost 3 times as much so it should be.

I should have taken before and after photos but I never think about that stuff until after. I've tried to show the aproximate shape of the original in this photo. As you can see I cut away enough to allow my hand to grip the pistol normally and still have leather covering the rearward portion of the slide. Once I'm sure this is how it's staying I'll clean up the cuts and smooth the leather a little more.

Here are a couple of photos comparing the size of the SuperTuck (left) and the MiniTuck.

Nice pics I like the Kydex leather backed holsters a lot! Xbreed is a very nice holster.

The CW always looks good in a holster to me,

Nice pictures. I got a supertuck for my P9 about a month ago and I have been thinking about trimming some leather on mine. I just noticed last week that the magazine release button has pressed against the leather a few times and has ejected the magazine. :2eek: I am thinking about calling crossbreed and discussing what should be done about this problem. Looks like you have cut the leather so that wouldn't be a problem.

I think their "combat cut" does the same thing--trims the leather away from the grip and mag release. The MiniTuck's are cut that way by default.

I still need to even out and clean up the edges but I like the way it feels cut this way.
