I just purchased my first Kahr today. It's a CM9. I've been shooting for 60 years, so I've sent some lead downrange in my lifetime. I had a Ruger LCP for a pocket pistol, but I'm not a big fan of the 380! Hopefully the CM9 will fill that need. I generally carry a Ruger SR9c, or a Sig P239 OWB. But there are times you just need a pocket gun....

I'm sure that I'll have a lot of questions as I get into shooting the Kahr. First I need to get a couple of extra mags?

I have lived in Florida for the last fifteen years. Before that it was Ohio....Go Buckeyes!!!!

Hello & welcome. I purchased my first Kahr a few weeks ago... CM 9 & love it. I've run approx. 350 round through it without a single malfunction. I had narrowed choice to a Ruger LC9 and the CM9. I ran a couple hundred rounds though each before making my decision. It was important to me as this weapon will be my backup duty and off-duty carry weapon. I put a Trijicon sight on he front and love it. Based on another members recommendation I ordered a PJ Holster for it (check em out.. they're great). Hope you like it as much as I do!

Which PJ Holster did you get for your CM9? I'm partial to OWB myself!

I think I know the answer. (I am probably the member that did the recommendation.) The one that I highly recommend is the IWB with at least 15° cant and the over the belt clip (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). I have middle-aged spread and a spare tire, but my CM9 riding in this holster at 8:00 disappears and becomes part of my body because it is so comfortable. I literally have to reach back there and touch the gun to confirm it is still there! No kidding! You will not be disappointed.

I've heard good things about Paul and his products. I'm still up in the air about which holster to get for the CM9? I'm partial to leather and OWB. But the CM9 pocket carries real easy!!

Hey welcome to forum. You picked a winner. I'm still considering a CM9 also. I've got a P9 and truly love it. I carry it OWB and can carry all day hardly know it's there. I've got a LCP and LC9 but the LC9 is not quite right for pocket carry so I'm still looking and it will probably be the CM9. Good folks here that can really help you out in just about any kind of jam. Shoot low sheriff they're ridin shetlands.

You didn't mention Jocko? You know how sensitive he is and hates to be left out. Course neither of your descriptors fits him well so it was an easy mistake.

congrats on your new cm9...the kahrs are a great pistol! they're well made, shoot great and are balanced perfect in your hand. i've been looking at one of these too but can't decide between either the mk9 or the cm9.

A friend of mine is a Sgt. on the Lee County Sheriff's Department. His back-up and off duty is a PM9. He says that he'll never get rid of it. Right now my main carry is a Ruger LC9, or Ruger SR9c. The SR9c is a real shooter. The LC9 is a nice gun, but I prefer striker fired pistols. If the CM9 works out, the LC9 will probably get sold??

I'm just waiting for two more mags from Midway and then to the range for a couple hundred rounds. If that works out OK, then I'll have to figure what to get for a Holster.....
