Any 1911 screw will work downtown. You might have to shorten it up but the thread pattern is right.

Most any half way decent shop will have 1911 grip screws and might even just give you one. If you find the slim grip screw it might work as is, can't say for sure.

Someone mentioned putting teflon pipe tape on them. I'd heard of purple loctite but the teflon idea sounds like a good one. I may try that.
