I'm trying to gather up a couple Ruger 10/22's to help teach kids shooting fundamentals this summer at a local camp. I know Wallyworld carries the basic Birch stock Ruger for $220 but was hoping to find one or two used through the forum. The ****'s $179 Black Friday was a joke because no stores around me had any and if they did it was only one or two. Thanks in advance for any assistance to guidance.

Have you contacted the NRA and or the CMP for possible donations of .22 rifles?

There are numerous programs for youth firearms education. Look around and you'll find organizations willing to fully provision or subsidize a Youth Shooting initiative. Don't discount local businesses either. Many will contribute to a program like you've described.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried a couple of the local non-chain big retailers and my shooting range. Both were surprisingly not helpful, actually verging on rude. I'll try NRA next week.

Thank you...I called a couple of the sellers here last week...I'm finding 10/22's are not quite as economical as I thought originally... :faint2:

Ya gun's are flying off the shelves since election at all of the local gun shops I visit.
