I went to a gun show recently with the intention of purchasing a CW9 but only found one at a high price there. I then noticed a CW40 and looked it over walked around a while and then went back. looked again and walked around again then went back for the third time and bought it. I am so happy now that I did I cleaned it and since I live in a rural area I can shoot at my home anytime. I love this gun. Some say recoil is a problem but not a problem for me. I am a very happy person that I took the chance and bought the 40CW.

Good for you Don, glad you found us. How nice that you can shoot anytime ya want.

Enjoy the CW, great gun. The 40 is indeed a little pocket rocket but many get along just fine with it.

I'm biased against the 40cal... since I was on the cutting edge of 10mm implementation. On the other hand, the 40 is a good cartridge, and the guns are both adequately small and powerful. Good chocie!

My P40, although Mag-na-ported... or because of, has become my main "squeeze"... even though I have a few other Kahrs, including a PM45! i just switched to Speer 180-grain God Dots Short Barrel... kind of a "flying ashtray"!

Great to hear. I just put a CW40 on layaway yesterday. What do you think of the trigger?

Hi thanks for your response. I like the trigger actually, It is long but very smooth but I bought this Kahr to replace my keltec p11 which also has a very long trigger pull so the new Kahr 40 is much better for me. I think the long trigger pull is a very good thing especially for concealed carry with no saftey. If you have never had one with a long trigger pull it may be some adjustment but I really like the new cw40 a lot. It is so much nicer to shoot than my Keltec.

Thanks for your reply. I have never tried a 10 mm and was hesitant at first to try the 40 but I have found I really like it a lot so far.
