Personally, as a women with some medical hand issues the pm9 presented some challenges for me. But the effort was well worth it! I have over 1,800 rounds in it now but it took 400 rounds before I could field strip the gun and re-assemble the it. If your wife has any issues handling the pm9 let me know.
