Does anyone know if the Novak DCR18 rear sight can be installed at home onto a CW45 by a competent mechanical type, but not a gunsmith?

It's listed as a "direct replacement" on the Novak sight, but I still don't know about the installation. Is it just a matter of some careful work with a small brass punch?
