Hi. I don't reload any more, but I've been saving what brass I can from what stays in my position at the range. I've sorted it by caliber and large bunches of like manufacturer brass. I have .380, 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. Most of the cases are once-fired, but not all. Mine were new, but I policed up some other cases, too.

I'm going to have a table at the gun show this weekend and wonder what price I should ask by caliber for fired, unprepared cases. I have about 20 pounds.

I want to price it to sell, but not give it away. I certainly don't intend on any "premium" prices, but have been "out of the market" for stuff like that for almost 15 years.

Thanks for your replies and help.

At the gun show this weekend, I was seeing brass selling for anywhere from $50 to $80 per thousand.

380 & 9 mm I would price per 500 @ $25 or $30

40 & 45 acp per 500 @ $45 or 50

Better yet, walk the floor before you put them out and see what others are selling them for.

I have paid as high as $59 per 500 for 45 ACP cleaned and once fired.

Thanks. I was figuring a nickel or so for the smaller, but a bit more for the .4+ sizes, but wanted to keep the price reasonable for unprocessed brass. I got out of reloading and don't have any equipment for that any more.

I wanted to get everything labeled so Wifey can sell while I'm shop... er, walking the floor and comparing prices.

Thanks again!

Our local range sells 500 rounds of 9mm for about $20, which I think is very reasonable. It's sorted, but not cleaned.
