I contacted Lipsey's last week to discuss having them approach Kahr/Auto-Ordnance about doing a special run of the Thompson in 10mm (like the rare FBI carbine).

If Lipsey's and Kahr/AO entertain the idea, how many would be interested in one of these? Personally, the thought of having 30 180gr JHP's screaming along at 1300-1400fps has me drooling.

10 mm would be great as would be 38 Super, 45 Super and 40 S&W. The only problem I see would be the expense mags and drums having different dimensions. I would be really nice to have some power beyond 45 ACP in a 1927A1 platform, 10 mm may be just the ticket. They should add the Lyman adjustable rear sight as an option.

I would be interested, for sure. As for the magazine, Could they not use a magazine that is already made. I know that some folks convert their Uzi to use .40S&W caliber use the same magazine as their 9mm counterparts. For the Thompson it might require changing the follower and the angle of the feed lips. I am not sure if anything else must needs be changed.
