Kahrtalk isn't playing nicely with the new OS upgrade. It won't remember my login and keeps asking about tapatalk. When I do login I get a failed redirect error and have to touch kahrtalk home in the bottom nav bar to get to the forums.

I've had no issues on the iPhone 5.

Don't know about the iPad but the new iOS for the phone is reported by everybody I know with one to be a load of crap.

I've had issues with the new iOS but none regarding Kahrtalk (iPad). They've already sent an upgraded version that seems to work better overall. I'd recommend a re-install or make sure you have the latest version: 7.0.2

Since iOs7 I've had nothing but trouble with Tapatalk, Safari works fine.

Never upgrade for at least 6 months after an "Improved" version is released, JMHO.

That includes Android which, by the way, many are dumping iPhones for.
