I don't see the option for managing attachments when I try to create a new thread. I had a nasty malfunction today and I'd like to post pics in order to get some advice.

You need 30 post before you can post a direct picture. You can post a link to like a photobucket photo etc.

Maybe they moderators can add that to the forum facts for the new members.

There are many helpful members here that might post them for you. I would, but I am not able to right now. Maybe someone else can jump in.

There are also a lot of smart people here. They may be able to help if you explain your malfunction.

I barked at one of the Moderators...hope I don't get banned. Thanks for putting up with me.
Going to post this in the K section and see if I can get some help.

Did you have a blow up? I see the magazine follower is gone, that's a mag spring sticking out, the extractor is also AWOL, looks like part of the extractor train is still present.

The primer on the case looks gone as well. Not a pretty picture.

Barking at Mods around here is never a good idea. They can be very sensitive folks. Worse than nitro glycerin sometimes.

Sure looks like an over charged round or a bad case. Probably over charged since you mentioned louder than normal bang. The case burst the primer blew out, your lucky your not more injured.

Should be able to put a pencil down the bore and determine if bullet left. Or even look. It can't fire the way it is.

I'd probably put a dowel down the barrel and put some pressure on the case while trying to pull the slide back. Once it comes loose you should be able to get the mag out.

Probably best to arrange for a trip back to Kahr. They have the parts on hand, trigger bar might be messed up. Extractor chain definitely needs to be put back together.

Just a bad round, pretty rare with factory but it happens.

Big ouch! If you're reloading, you better get a powder cop or start weighing your charges.
