She's here boys. Hot off the delivery truck. Arrived in very nice condition and well broken in. Seven magazines with it too! Apparently the previous owner beat me to the striker spring modification. Smooth and light! Hope to get it out during the holidays and fire a few rounds. Tell me what you think! :D

That's maybe the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Without question the most beautiful thing I've seen today for sure.

I think 40 in a T size gun is a great combo.

First for me as well. Hardly see T's of any caliber.

Just got back from cleaning her up. It had been shot and not cleaned so I took care of that. Cleaned everything up and applied some Slide Glide Lite . All looks good inside. Ready to go burn some lead.

Ahhh, I remember the anticipation of waiting on my T9. It was definitely worth the wait. They are sweeeet shooters. I am sure that 40 will be just as sweet. Love the lines of that pistol.

Thanks Laser. I was just comparing the size of my K9 to T40. Not a lot of difference maype 1/2" longer at the barrel and 3/4" longer in the grip. Also compared the triggers. My K9 has the 5# spring. I am betting the T40 has been changed as well. They feel the same to me. Looking forward to later in the week when I will have some time off to shoot it. :amflag:

I had to go look at mine, I've had it about 2 years (bought new) and our S/Ns within 10 of each other, same TOA4XX. Your going to like this thing....

I have two T40's and 2 T9's and they are my personal favorite handguns for anything not in my pocket (can you tell?). One of my 40's is serial #007 and the other is a newer one. They are both great shooters and great triggers. 100% reliable in every way.

My newest add is a customized T9 two tone with polished slide, front serrations and black ceramic finish frame and accents.

Anyway, I'm not trying to hi jack the thread, just join in the celebration of pleasure over a great handgun. For the life of me I can't understand why they aren't more popular.

Congrats on a GREAT find.

I have a K with the Kahr ported barrel and the pinky extension on the mag. Makes it exactly the same dimensions as my T. The T is still a better shooter... for me anyway.

Very nice man, congrats. I have yet to see, let alone hold/shoot, a T series pistol, maybe someday. :)

So I couldn't find anything on the Glock SN list. If you bought yours new two years ago then TOA4XX should be a 2010 or 2011 model. Good to know. Thanks.:D

I think I got mine about Oct. of 2011. Can't tell you the model year, although I expected 2011. I had to look up this holster thread to make sure. I got the holster a few months after the gun.

I also discussed S/Ns with another person on this site that got a new one after mine and he stated mine was within 10 of his, same TOA4XX. That is probably in the "T" threads section but I don't have time to search it out right now. It would be cool to know how many of these they make a year.

I would say not many judging from what you see on the auction sites and the fact that you never see them in gun shops. I may call Kahr CS and try to find out. I will let you know if I am successful. :)

I think they are like Sasqwaches, you so seldom see one that sometimes you question weather they really exist.

I know I held one in my whole life at a gun show. Held it a long time too. I should have some how bought, it was real proof right in my hand and I blew it.

Ain't seen one since.

Somethings I can accept, like Santa Claus, I know he's real but being from the Show Me state I like proof on a lot of stuff.

Now the tooth fairy that's bogus, I figured that out a couple months back, used my son's trail camera. If was mom what put the loot under the pillow.

Negatory good buddy. That's wifey, not mommy. I'm sure mom's happy I only got about 7 teeth left. Then she can start building up her 401K whatever that might be.

I'm into guns and kukris, my financial future will never be sound.

In some older thread I read that Kahr only makes a run of Ts twice per year. Probably not many at the time, since they are so scarce. :)

I wonder what a "run" consists of and how many are T9s and how many are T40s? I suspect they sell more 9mm than .40s, maybe even 2 to 1 but I would like some idea. It could be 1 run of T9s and 1 run of T40s a year.
I'm interested in hearing what you CS guy tells you. I don't expect exact prodution numbers but a general idea would be nice.

Ok guys. I took the T40 out today for some fun. My concerns over the recoil have vanished. I can handle that without a problem. I shot some 165 and 180 gr. rounds and am satisfied with the results. I was able to put 7/8 rounds in a nice tight cluster from 21 feet. The stray round I pulled off. I need more practice with the Kahr trigger. This particular one is very smooth but the length of pull is what seems to get me. All in all it was a good day and the T40 performs beautifully. Highly recommend!
