i need some help

I took my cm9 apart like normal--then I put the slide back on-- minus the barrel and recoil spring to measure where I wanted the clip draw at--and guess what I cant get the slide to release from the stock--looks like the striker wont let come off---any ideas--not my slickest move.


I have used the clip draw for several yrs on other guns and am comfortable using it and well aware of the pros and cons-----thanks john

Try working the trigger a bit as you apply forward pressure to the slide.

LOL. That whewwwwwww reminds me of the time I was not thinking and put my M&P back together with the barrel upside down. I could not believe I did it, nor how I managed to do it. I felt like a complete idiot (which is what my sister in law calls me anyway)....kind of confirmed her feelings about me...haha. I was thinking that I might have to mail the whole damned mess back to S&W. Anyway, I managed to get the slide freed up and get it back apart to quickly hide the mistake. Whewwwww is exactly how I felt. I still don't know how I did that. But I bet it won't happen again.
