Hi all, first post. 18 years in Law Enforcement and 30 years in Medicine. Recently mostly retired. Ordered a CT40 and am looking for a duty style or at least exposed style holster. It would need some type of retention, thumb break OK. Prefer leather. Any suggestions. Thanks Doug

To make it a little easier most 1911 commander sized holsters will work but you have have to see how a strap fits if you have any to try around you . The kahr is about an 1/8th " longer from trigger gard to back of slide. Your pistol will also fit 99% of all cw9/p9 holsters. Only .04 wider and 1/2" longer and kahr offeres a couple if they pass for your needs. Safariland /biachi have a couple and galco has one
You wrote Duty style. To me that's still those hang down style holster in stead of something higher riding -

Look at Garrett Holsters. They build a kydex /leather lined holster and basket weave as an option and all though they do not show the ct40 they do show a T9 and cw/p9 and 40 , something will fill your needs. There holsters also have retention adjustment on them to help with a 9mm pistol working for a 40cal version. They also have the option in mounts to carry height.
You will see both a strap and hood retention holster on there owb page.

I CC a tp40 that's right at 2 years now. Love it.
