I was cleaning and lubing my ct9 earlier and on the bottom left side of my feed ramp, there seems to be a very small gouge or burr that folds outward. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems but I don't want it to get worse or cause any issues. Only 300 rounds through the gun it's brand new. I took a few photos but it doesn't show up well on my camera phone. What do you think? You can see the light reflecting off of it in the second photo

I don't think that burr will bother anything since the bullet ready for chambering is pointed almost directly into the chamber. However, for esthetics I'd sand it down with a dremel, file, or super fine sandpaper.

I tend to make things worse when I do my own gunsmithing. Why is it there though? I wonder what caused it. It could really only be the magazine.

It looked like one of those marks, that aliens leave, when you're abducted.

Ill pull apart my CT 45 I think it has the same mark but hasn't affected operations

Edit: mine seems to have a small gouge too but on the right when looking down on it.
