I am wanting to get a small 45 for keeping in my car and I'm obviously choosing a Kahr, so which model would everyone recommend? What are the benefits of each, besides the extra mag with the KP and the cheaper price on the CW?

Thanks!

I own a P 45 and a PM 45. My friend has a CW9. From talking to him,
and I would guess that the CW 45 has the same CW 9.
CW has fixed non changable sights, one mag, standard rifled bbl, finished
differently. P45 dovetail sights, better finish, two mags, Poly bbl.
And P45 costs about $200 more. If you do not need NS, then the
CW should be fine. I am thinking about buying a CW 45 bbl and putting it
in my P45 to shoot lead. Good luck

My CW40 has a drift adjustable rear sight. Isn't the CW9 the same?

Yes, the CWs have drift adjustable rear, but pinned front sights. All the CWs are the same.

I wish I could give input. I have the KP45 and have been very happy with it. I look at each of my guns are an investment for me. My Kel-Tec is my only inexpensive gun.
