just picked up my first karh pistol the TP40 model.great deal at bud's for $340.i have just started the break in period and fired 50 rounds of balzer
brass 165 gr.m.c. with only one minor hickcup.the slide failed to lock open on the last shot one time in 7 clips.i am impressed with initial quality on the kahr and like the trigger although it will take some getting used to.

Welcome and enjoy. With time, I believe you will prefer the Kahr trigger for self defense. Also accurate enough for "target" shooting.

420 rounds into my tp40 and it is still not 100% reliable. I would say it is now about 96% reliable.have tried 6 or 7 different brands and bullet types to date.so far it
functions best with 165 gr. critical defense rounds.i have been cleaning and lubing every 100 rounds.this karh is definitely requiring more break in then any other
pistol I have ever owned.having said that I am up for the challenge as I really do like the pistol and am determined to stick with it.

occasional failure to chamber and sometimes fails to lock slide back after firing last shot.
