View Full Version : How old are we ?

Dietrich

I`ve noticed that several members [myself included] referred to themselves as being a little long in the tooth. That means old for you youngsters. So just out of curiousity, how old are you? If it isn`t too personal, let me know and I`ll total all the answers and then I`ll get the average. The deadline is midnight on Halloween and I`ll give you the answer November 1st. I`m not really old but I`m not too young to vote either. I`ll start it by saying my age is 58.

Pick a number between 1 and 10 (or any number if you prefer).

Add 5,

Divide by 2 & round up to the next whole number (ex: 15/2=7.5 > 8),

Multiply by 9,

Add the digits of your number until you are left with a number between 1 and 9 (ex: 12 > 1+2=3 147 > 1+4+7=12 > 1+2=3),

Multiply by 4,

Subtract 4

That will be my age next month.

Or, I could just say 32 next month.

The age distribution supports what I generally see at the ranges, shows, and rallys. A skew towards the 'more experienced' crowd with little support from the under 40 crowd.

Sadly, fewer younger folks recognize how this country was founded, why we're free, and why if we let our rights be chiseled away, we'll find ourselves in a very unpleasant place.:(

I'll step off the soapbox. I'm not the youngest, but at 35, it seems I'm close.

Always good to have the input and views of younger men! Us older boys sometimes lose sight of the real world out there. I know it is a much different world today, than when I was 20/21. :( Good to have you here!

Today is the day we find out how old we are. Not wanting to deprive you of a little addition or division, it does it appear we are "mature". At least in theory.
