Small pins retaining firing pin

After a small amount of firing my 27A1 Auto-Ordnance Thompson, the pins that secure the firing pin are bent. Has Kahr corrected this problem with hardened pins ?

Mine have broken several times, accompanied with a ftf. I have used roll pins(spring pins), and am in the process of switching to drill rod. We'll see.
