Finally!!! Finally I've got a K9094 on the way. K9 black slide/frame. Brand new, I'll post pics when I get it.

I had to purchase new, finding a used one was daunting (except for dusty apparently) and find one is like pulling teeth. Should have it mid next week.

So now the dreaded waiting begins. I hate the waiting game terribly. What do we do while we're waiting? Choose up sides and smell arm pits?

Seems like even when we have a sack full of toys to play with, the one we're waiting on is the one we want to hold the most.

I've always been told, don't count the first day and don't count the last day so there's 2 days off the count no matter how ya look at it.

Least ya finally got one nailed down and you can scratch it off the list.

Bawanna45cal always a unique way of looking at things. Yes I already have a bag full of toys, and most of them cept the HK45c were/are relatively easy to find....at least at the local fun show they are. The K40s have appeared on occasion, but around here the K9, any K9 has been few and far between and I mean... scarce. You are right the waiting will suck, especially since we have a long weekend.

I think it may fall into the "best things come to those who".....category.

Should have it mid next week. Holiday weekend waits are even longer and harder to tolerate.;)

The Black K9 is a great looking gun... all business, tough looking, competent. You're going to love it.

You're not alone kpm9....I'm still waiting to pick up my all black K9 ...err
I actually thought it would be today, I planned to meet the buyer for my Taurus this morning then hightail it to the LGS to pick up...BUT ...I just found out the state is closed today for handgun transfers, so nothing can happen until next week... I'm with ya bro..

Well congratulations are in order anyway PaiN. I You're a little closer than me with one nearly in hand, but if I have it by next weekend I'll be happy. Many of the LGS are closed around here doing inventory and such. I always use the local range for transfers, that way I'm right there ready to try it out. ;)

Being originally from New York, but calling Texas home for the past 20 something years, I see Kahrs as being more readily available in the Great NE when I visit. I think just in the past few years are they starting to catch on more down here.

Between this thread and the fart out this morning....I'm half out of my tree now
Looks like it'll be next Tuesday, at least before I sell the Taurus. Then dependent on time maybe another day or two until I can get to the LGS
I want my K9!!!!!

In all it's newness and glory. Better pic later, I need to clean her up. Lots of cosmo on this one. :)

Edit: Notice the mag marked 9-7 Kahr. Never seen that before.

probably to help the kahr order people know what they are mailing. 9mm- 7 round. that is one nice looking K9. I wish mine was all black, just looks so combative..

do a good prep on it, take your time check everything over. mag springs etc, smooth up the mag, and all that you can before that first shotis fired..

I put 150 rounds through the new K9 yesterday, not a bobble, not a single issue. Not the best ammo either. Obsevations:

Wow, talk about balance and feel. um, Perfect is the only word to describe it.
Felt recoil is nil, nadda.
Smooth operation.
Accuracy is what I'd expect from Kahr. Excellent as always.
Empty mags drop free, but gun is tight.
Disassembly is slightly more difficult than polymer Kahrs.

Here is another, not so great pic.

Slightly!?

:D

Glad to see you're happy with your "new" K9. It will only get better too. The photo makes me want to take some Krylon to my stainless K9... I love the black. IMHO, the K9 is the best of the entire line... except for that take-down effort. Why couldn't the K9 be like the T9, (simple and easy)?

the slide lock lever is not as easy to push out as the polymer models, BUT it is far more durable in the K9 than the polymer models IMO. Love that all black K9 though, wow what a nice peace..

Went and put another 150 flawless rounds through the K9 this am. Just as a gauge, I did 5 rounds, presentation and press out on a 3" shoot and see @ 25'.

Here is the first 5 of the 150. One happy camper here. Easily will become my EDC.

Hey kpm9.... You've taken more pics of yours than I have of mine....
Glad to hear it is rock solid for you....and aren't K9's just the best shooters? :)

kpm9

That's just a couple of the pics! :P

I'd have to agree, they are the best shooters out there and probably the best balanced pistol for concealed carry too.

Close enough, I say let him in. All in favor say rudabegga, Opposed?

Study up on the proper prep thread in the tech section. There's an owners manual link on the site. This will help only slightly while you suffer thru the waiting game. Waiting totally and completely sucks. I hate waiting. Did I mention I hate waiting.

I will check in on the prep thread. This one is used so hopefully it is running smooth when I get it.

Probably so, the lube chart in the same area might help also. I'd treat it like it was brand new anyway. The steel Kahrs pretty run right out of the box anyhow, I seriously doubt you'll have any issues at all. Except of course running out of bullets and wanting more to shoot.
