Will the Kahr MK40 wood grips fit on the K40 covert? If not, where would I get grips for the K40 Covert? Thanks.

I have a K40 covert as well; going to the safe to check the grips; I think they are the soft rubber....

damn, that has to be one sweet steel gun. I have no doubt u have the rare but IMO the best grips to. Rubber trumps all others IMO. Your grips screws won't ever loosen as they will with wood grips and the right side grip screws must reamin tight or you willget some light strikes do to the trigger bar drifting. A picture of the covert K40 would be nice to see. Hell I thought i knew it all-- everyday is a learning session on the kahr forum...

The photo seems to show nylon grips, as on the MK series, instead of rubber grips, as on the K9 and K40. They are more slender than the rubber grips, and have less 'stick' in the hand.

bob r. not sure they even offer the rubber grips anymore. I personallythink the rubber grips were the cats a-s to... probably the sierra club and the animal rights people rebelled aganst killing those rubber trees...

Well, after trying the "grip feel" on an MK40 and a K40 at my local dealer, I decided to buy a K40 (and not buy the K40 Covert on Guns America). Waiting for wood checkered grips and range day.

Sorry for the late reply; my K40 covert has the hard black nylon grips
