..that bugs me about the K9 is the smooth front strap of the grip. Not so much during shooting, but I definitely notice it during drawing. At some point I plan to have it professionally stippled but probably not for a while. I was thinking of adding a piece of grip tape...
I've heard the best tape(no jockco...not duct tape ) to use is basic skateboard grip tape. I'd rather do that than waste time and money on A or Decal grip..

I've seen the skateboard tape applied before with good results.

You could also try the little add on piece on the link. They work very good on a 1911. They are very very thin but offer an excellent grip.
Would have to probably trim them as the grips on the K drop into the frame and aren't flat like a 1911.
I think I have one of these at home I'll try to remember to try it on my K40 tonight and see if it would work. You can get them in silver or black so they pretty much match up to your gun.

I do like a textured front strap alot.

I thought for sure you'd be a fan of duct tape for them too.....

no no duct tape tend sto wanna pull where as skate board tends to sand um off. You just gotta have to have been there done it sort of thing.

When I saw the front strap on an x5 the first thing I thought was man that would be perfect on my k40.
