After trying to find a PM45 my local gun dealer says he can get me a factory blemished one from a distributor in Texas. My dealer says he has no idea what the blemish might be but that it does have a complete factory warranty. Does anyone have any info about this? I did not think a gun manufacturer would sell factory second. I wonder if they would cover the blemish under warranty and fix it? Thoughts anyone....

I know that Kahr does sell blemished guns. They are marked with a "B" on the bottom of the trigger guard if my research is accurate. I don't know by experience if they are up to standard but I have talked to people on other forums who have them and have no problems. They also sell refurbs marked with a "U".

The blemish is almost certainly cosmetic and is probably not covered by the warranty, but I have nothing to back that up. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

**I found your post of this on DefensiveCarry.com and I completely agree with most of what you're hearing. There's no way they would send out a functionally inferior weapon, only a cosmetically inferior one.

If the price is right, I certainly would not hesitate to buy one. It is a defense gun, not a show gun and no way would kahr put out a blemished gun that does not work. A blemish woldbe a cosmetic thing, more likely in the slide area, I would think.

would be interesting to know what one could be bought for.

They are asking $630, I think they are normally $690-$700ish.

Too much. Got my PM45 for 550.00, new unblemished.

$630 sounds totally out of whack IMO. getting a PM45 for $550 is IMO a super good price..

I have checked around quite a bit and $690 seems to be the going price so $550 would definitely be a steal of a deal for a new one, considering that, $630 doesn't sound to far out of whack to me. YMMV.

Find you way to a gun show in Austin/SA and check AJC Sports.
