(I am new to this forum everyone and this is my first post) I have a K9 pistol. My question is: Do the 8 round magazines fit flush in a K9 pistol or is there a gap between the mag well and the bottom of the magazine? Has anyone used the 8 round mags in thier K9? Opinions please. Thanks in advance!!

The regular base 8 round mags stick out the bottom of a K9 by about 1/2". Kahr offers the extended grip 8 round mag for the K9. This mag has the longer plastic base that blends into the grip for a smoother transition. the part number is K920G. Both mags are the same price.

If I understand this correctly, the 8 round mags don't look the same as the 7 round mags when they're in the gun (K9 stainless in my case)?

We have two 7 round mags and I was going to buy two more 8's, but I don't want them if they protrude out of the bottom more than the 7's.

I have three of them and use them at the range for the PM9 and K9 and at home in the K9 for home defense.

I've had no problems at all with the 8-round extended grip models. They do protrude more than the 7-round model, but I would use the 8's for reloads if I used the K9 for CCW.
