Brand new P9, I had order and picked up today.
150 near flawless rounds, with one Fail to Feed on the first mag. The rest afterwards were perfect.

Every Kahr I've bought has been perfect form the the get-go.
I'll get better pics later. Time now to fondle. ;)

no luck involved, good gun, nice report, now just shoot it like you stole it. P9 is one awesome kahr IMO. I think ol Jim K would even agree with you..

Well with all the bad you hear about this or that, makes me wonder.

My first black stainless Kahr, a think of beauty.

Yup, P9, damn good pistol. Issues aside it's the perfect CCW IMO. I'm not trading mine for anything, (now). I have over 4000 rounds thru my P9 after repair and it works perfectly. IMO I should not have had any problems at all for the price I paid.

It is good to read that kpm9 has had good luck with his P9. They should all at least go bang EVERY time, right out of the box.

Regards, Jim K

No luck involved. The only issue I ever had with my PM40 was trying to load a round in my first few mags by racking the slide. Enjoy your weapon.

Fun read... There is no such thing as "lucky", there is only "unlucky". Not possible in term of relativity. LOL.

Amazing..

Nonetheless, congrat to KPM9, you have a keeper here, Kahr is amazingly accurate and is an amazing joy to carry.

Stay safe guys!

I put another 250 rounds through it on Saturday without a problem.

I really was kidding about the lucky part. ;) There are alot of people out there (not on this forum) who have this belief that Kahr's are not worth the price or the company is questionable or there problem weapons.

Funny, most of them have never shot one. I really need to take some more pics. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite Kahr's.

How durable is the black finish?

Been very durable for me. I've been carrying it since I bought and and there are no signs of holster wear on the slide. Only on the polymer receiver

Thats good to know. I am in the process of ordering a new CW9 and would prefer the black slide if the finish is durable. If it is'nt it just make the pistol look old before it is.

any cw series is available with the black DLC finish You might run that by Jim K. he seems to have all the "technical" data..:001_tt2:

I, too, find your avatar distracting! :D Is she the reason for your name?

The finish on my gun looks brand new, it's several years old and in and out of 3 holsters A LOT. I'd say it's durable.

I looked on Kahr's website and they show the CW9 in stainless slide only.

I just shot my new P9 and love how it handles even the hot loads that are common for self defense. Once I can manage the trigger better my groups will tighten up, right now I'm pushing a bit left and low. The only feed issue was with some 147 gr Golden Sabres which are just short enough to make it into the magazine, the slide didn't go into battery with the first round from slide lock. Light bump put it right and the rest of the string fed just fine. I'm impressed about how well this 18.5 oz. pistol handles considering I've shot sigs and glocks that had more apparent recoil with similar loads. Great pistol and easy to carry all day!!

Hey Winston. They are great pistols and you'll get better and faster with the trigger quickly. Just don't try to stack it, pull it straight through.

I ordered the CW9 should be here tomorrow.
I looked at alot of other s including the Glock 36 since it was a single stack but the CW9 fit my hand the best I liked the size and weight. I shoild be shooting it this weekend.:)
