I love my MK40 for conceal carry. With the punch of a .40 S&W and a set of Crimson Trace grips I feel it makes a great package. ;)

I agree except I prefer the tritium sights and a good flashlight to the Crimson Trace. Flawless performance, good power and an easily concealed and carried package.

I carry an MK4043 daily. It has the tritium night sights, which my MK9 does not. I intend to change that, and to get the SS guide rods for them both.

This is for dave...The laser grips..do they give you a better grip on the gun when firing.? VS. some type of hogue grip I love my mk 40, but the recoil is a pain to control for follow up shots.

Yes, The gip is much better than the stock grips. I also put the Pearce Grip Extention on the 5 rnd mag which makes a great improvement with follow up shot control.

Thanks for the tip on the Extension Grip. I wasn't aware of that one until you made mention of it. Looks like a winner to me!
