Anyone see the ammo price increase that was to occur this month?

Nope, just picked up another 100 rounds at Wally World this morning in fact.

I actually think it was $1 cheaper :)

I was at a gun show in Raleigh this past weekend and didn`t notice an increase at all.As a matter of fact, primers and powder had actually dropped in price.Gun prices were pretty steady as well.

Prices went up about $2/50 at my LGS on most. The only brand that stayed teh same was Remington UMC.

I just ordered another 500 rounds of .380 ammo from AmmoToGo.

Price was pretty decent I thought, but they do have a notice on the home page about pending price increases.

I got a notice about the price increase so I stocked up. My .45 is still on back order but I got in my 10 cases of .357sig, 5 cases of .40, 5 cases of 9, and 5 cases of .380. Why is it that a case of .357/9 is 1000 rds and a case of .40/.45/.380 are cases of 500 rds???

I will call my distributor up and see if the prices did go up or not because I was told to get a few cases of .223 for a school. Can't believe I forgot to order .223.

just got in my last case of 380 and 45 from my previous backorder.
1 case of Federal 380 (1000 rds) was $187.
1 case of Ultramax 45 (500 rds) was $139.
This is FMJ ammo.
I don't have last years receipts to compare.

Dang! Prices for my favorite .45 FMJ at Wally World have gone up. First the Win100 pack went from $32.95 to $35.95 and today the Federal Champion was up to $!8.97 from $16.97. I don't keep up with the other prices, but I suspect they are all going up as well.

Sorry to hear it because those are the same prices as the Atlanta WM's. I've got about 1600 rounds of 45 so I hadn't price it lately. The last ammo I bought was 500 rounds of Ranger 40 cal HP's last month. I think I'll do an inventory of my safe today to see exactly what I have in 380, 9mm, and 40 and 45 cal. It was a great deal simpler 3 or 4 years ago when every active pistol I had shot 9mm.

I'll check at the range and see how their prices are doing. the Totally Copper Clad .45 reloads from AAA WERE $17 a box. That's the cheapest fodder now... if that hasn't gone up much.
It would definitely be easier and cheaper to shoot that stuff. I never had any problems with it and I wasn't getting extra lead in my "diet", either. :)

The range has air conditioning now, but when you shoot, bare lead bases get atomized/vaporized and you probably get a good dose from your own shooting, as well as your neighbors!

My range and GS sell Atlanta Arms 45 reloads for $17 per 50. I never buy it because it's so dirty, although I've never had any other problems with it.

I checked my ammo stock in the safe. I have 230 rounds of 380, 1100+ of 9mm, 1300+ of 40, and 1700+ of 45. The + is what's in the mags which for the 45's is about 100 rounds. This is divided at about 60%- 40% HP to ball. Since I only have one 380 which I seldom shoot, one 9mm, and three 40's, I'm okay there for a while. I have seven 45's though, so if I get back into my 2 or 3 times a week, I may need some more there.

Yeah, I did. On 23 June I purchased a 250 rd box of Remington UMC 9mm 115gr FMJ for $52.95 at Wally World, and noticed last week the same box priced at $59.95. Yikes, that's a 13% increase. Since I didn't buy any other ammo I don't know if they also went up, but the the 9mm sure did.
