Today is the day that Wi. allows concealed carry. Nov. 1, 2011. My application is in the mail. May take up to 45 days for the license, but I can handle that...Finally, the day has come..Mike

Where in Wi. are your in-laws? I am in S.E Wi., 10 mi. south of Waukesha, and 25 mi. west of Milwaukee..

Congratulations to Wisconsin and good work to the 2A supporters in that state for never giving up! Another plank in the wall of freedom went up on the first of November.

For those of you keeping score, that's 41 Shall Issue states now (or permissive May Issue). Only 9 left to go. And, double bonus, Wisconsin was one of only two remaining NO Issue states (Illinois is the remaining hold-out) so that was quite a swing.

It's stuff like this that gives encouragement to those of us stuck in one the remaining 9 states that, one day, our time too will come...
