Range bags don't often survive more than one owner unless maybe they get a bigger one and then usually the first one just gets added too.

I got a bag from Midway. They quite often go on sale. There's a smaller and a larger version. I went the small but it would be nice to have two rather then the large so it don't weigh so much.

They got lots of pockets, slots for mags, shoulder strap. Don't recollect now what they sell for but they are worth the price and a real deal when on sale.

I love my under $20 range bag from Harbor Freight. It's sold as a tool bag but looks great, has a rubberized bottom so you can set it on grass, and has pockets, mag holders and is lockable.

another vote for the midway bags. Very good quality, lots of pockets, magazine holders, etc. In the small bag I typically take 2 guns and all magazines for them, 200-300 rounds of ammo, eyes and ears for 2, and a small cleaning kit. I used to hold the large one and it really holds a lot, actually more than I wanted to carry.

I have a large Midway bag that is excellent. I would definitely recommend picking one up when they are on sale. It is a very big bag. It has pretty much all of my hand gun stuff (magazines, cleaning supplies, and two sets of glasses and earmuffs). I may pick myself up one of the smaller ones too.

Go to Wally world, and get on of their Allen brand bags. That's what I use for my pistols, 10 bucks, is decent in size, and can actually take a bunch of weight. I use my truck when I take my rifles to the range.

It must be like medical equipment. They have a PVC coupler that sells for 89 cents at Lowes for only 19.25 plus shipping for a wheelchair cane holder. So they call a tool bag a range bag and double the price.
