We're still absorbing and trying to interpret the newest ones. Now all semi auto's are considered assault rifles, even your 10/22.
Required class to be able to buy one and have to be 21. 18 can still buy a bolt action etc.
Still haven't figured out if the class is required for CPL's. And no mention of it on hand gun purchases.
No word on where these classes might be or what the requirements might be. It 's right up there with building a football stadium with no place to park.
Don't matter, I'm not taking no class, I'll figure out a way around it.
If it's required for a CPL, guess I'll be an outlaw, always wanted to be one anyhow.
You're a bad MAN!!!!!! And a true PATRIOT!
Ladies love outlaws. And apparently convicts. Guess they are outlaws that got caught even if he didn't do it.
Here's a link to the website and chart.

There must be a reason Kentucky is such an anomaly. Buds can't be the only reason. Other than the other branch in Tennessee, are there other Buds in the U.S.?
I fergot - if it’s NICS checks, a mail order place won’t do NICS checks. The buyer’s state would.
I just happened to think that these numbers in AL won’t account for all purchases. If you have a concealed carry permit you’ve passed the background check through the sheriffs office for the duration the permit is valid (1-5 years) and you don’t go through NICS, you just fill out the form, pay your money, and go. The LGS files your form in their records. If you act up then the sheriff will pull your permit then you have to do a NICS check.
Not sure how they get away with that but hey, I’m not a lawyer and don’t play one on TV.
23% of all eligible residents of the state have been issued a permit. I can tell you that at all my LGS’s people line up to buy, the salesperson says “you got your permit?” The buyer says yes, shows it and some money, fills out a form, and in 7 minutes they’re out of there.
I haven’t seen anyone buy a handgun without a permit since that legislation passed and took effect back in 2016 or so.
^^ Maybe Kentucky doesn’t have that, and it pushes their number up? Florida doesn’t have it.
