Barrel will not drop free of slide. Can't tell, but looks like maybe the extractor is blocking the barrel from dropping out the bottom of the slide. Suggestions.

I just hate messing with anything that works. It's not the mag catch and it only takes moderate pressure to seat the empty mag with the slide in battery.
