Its been a few days so maybe you figured it out but a common problem is the alignment of the recoil spring. Make sure it is positioned correctly. Let me know if you need a picture as I can't provide...
I love my 2 P380s. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. I'm wondering what Kahr did to repair it when you sent it in? They should have sent you a report. I didn't see how much shooting...
If I remember correctly, the PM/CM 45s had that issue and Kahr starting grinding out the hood to fix it. Decreasing the length of the ejector is a brilliant solution!!!
That happened to me a while back. Can't remember if it was on my K9 or CM45 though. Kahr sent me a new one.
When that happens, I change the location of the VPN. There's one VPN's use in Atlanta that gets blocked by this site. I just change to a different city.
Welcome to the forum!
When new the slide springs are very tight. They'll loosen up as you put rounds through it but then it'll be time to replace them. ;) I guess that would be the same as trying a gentler spring. What...
Thank you. I had a cocking cam spring break on my CM45. It was a pain to replace but I got it done. :amflag:
Well, that certainly took a while. Glad you got it back. Inquiring minds want to know. What did they do to it?
Hi Gallo... this thread is 5 years old so Mike may not be following. You might want to create a new thread about your problem but include more details. You should definitely call Kahr though....
That's great. Thanks for reporting back to us as your experience adds to the great wealth of Kahr knowledge here on the forum.
Strange. Sounds like the striker block isn’t blocking. I assume it would still protrude if you pulled it back half inch and released it. In any case, Kahr will get it straightened out for you. Let’s...
Greetings! Are you saying with the striker block up (not depressed), you can pull the striker back, release it, and the tip protrudes into the breech?
Congrats on your purchase. Happy to hear it ran flawlessly for you.
My brother in law knew someone who worked in a machine shop in Worcester, MA that made the magazines. I never got the name of it, but they don't sell them anyway.
It was a wtf moment. Luckily I could continue the range session. I just had to sling shot the slide and it didn't lock open. I did get me new one from Kahr so all is well now. BTW...did the same...
Thought I would share this I don't know what would have caused this. Unusual failure while at the range last week. Called Kahr and after confirming I was the original owner and filling out the...
I've found that if I push the barrel forward a bit, then I can lift the lug directly upwards and the barrel hood clears everything and out she comes.
I like the Lehigh Defense Extreme Penetrator or Extreme Defense bullets in a cartridge from Underwood Ammo. https://www.underwoodammo.com/380-acp-65-grain-xtreme-defender.html
This frame is different. Notice the raised areas.

Good report. My first P380 from 2015 had its growing pains (mainly broken strikers), but runs fine now and is smooth as silk after probably 2000+ rounds. My second P380, bought when a vendor had a...
change in velocity = (Force x time)/mass :Amflag2:
I put a sharpie cap into the breech to hold the slide open. It is just about perfect for alignment and then I tap the pin out.
The recoil and striker springs do "compete" in a Kahr.
