hey, welcome to the CM9 camp, i've had mine for over a year and still haven't found a better carry gun. nice shooting:33:
thanks for all the input, i'm leaning towards the cerakote, sounds like a good deal;), and a new set of sigts, maybe big dot. time to think about it
you got me tempted with the home spray job. i'll have to look into the details, but i have the equiptment neccesary.
i don't think you will be happy with anything less than a TP45, yes the big 4 inch barrel 45. sorry, but only a Kahr is a Kahr, they seem to be the only company with a trigger and action you...
anybody have a suggestion on blackening a cw slide, an affordable alternative to buying one from Kahr?
good to hear, the kahr 45 is a smooth shooting gun, it should work in and be very dependable. if you plan on carrying it, it is one of the easiest to carry and conceal. nice gun, enjoy it:)
the cw 45 is much easier to conceal than a glock 30
i had some issues with my cw45 last week at the range.
1. slide stop kept backing out, never fell out but close
2. tulammo wouldn't feed well
so i took out the screw and cleaned up the spring...
i like it too, a better conceal size:target:
a lot of the above with the addition of a small semi stiff stainless steel brush fo my stailess guns, gets the crud off fast and leaves no marks
not that cheap around here, 13.00 a box of 50 for nine mm.
thanks, thats something worth checking
i shoot it all the time, and almost exclusively in my cm9 and pt111 with zero problems and in a glock 30, the same stuff that wont drop in the cw45 drops in no problem in the glock, but
very nice, i also have a cm9 and it to has been 100%( wish i could say the same for my cw45, but...). yoy pics are good and seem show pretty similar patterns to my 9, good to see.;)
ok, so we all know the prices of ammo have been getting pretty high. when i was buying federal, winchester and remington i had no feeding problems, but when i added Tulammo to the mix i found they...
yes breakclean, a little brushing, then oil it up.
plain old 230 gr remington HP's, tried critical defense and they wouldn't seat in the chamber and i haven't tried anything else:confused:
i have one, very easy to conceal, easy to clean, easy shooter, just like the other kahrs, smooth long trigger pull. some complain about the sights but they are easy to see and pick up the target. i...
vertical sighting could have been a problem, think of it as dotting an I. the triggers are very consistent from model to model, very simple guns.
i bought the cm9 for carry, but the cw9 would be better for range shooting, like most have said. don't worry about what brand is better, they pretty much all have something going for them. that...
 was it really that easy? lucky dog:target:
he probably wouldn't get the chance to say good bye:eek:.
there are several holster tee shirts on the market that might be a good option:rolleyes:
i have the same combo, except i got the cm9 first and just a week ago traded for the cw45 because its thin enough to conceal for me. its nice to have the same trigger for defensive shooting.:33:
i like the idea someone had about converting 1911 mags for the 45 series, maybe somebody can come up with a similar option for the nines:rolleyes:
