Thanks for letting us know. Just for everyone's info, the LAPG backpacks aren't the best quality. The stitching likes to rip out on them. Their tac pants are top quality though. Love them! And...

HAHA! I didn't even notice. I, of course, meant lug nuts. Always check your lug butts too, don't want those falling off.
A buddy of mine got his tires changed at a nationwide wheel/tire shop. He left, and as he made a turn at the light, a wheel fell off. They didn't put the lug buts back on. They ended up paying, in...
Well I'm glad it didn't kill ya. I hate letting other people touch my car, especially when it comes to brakes/tires/wheels. That's what your safety counts on. I drive very hard both on the street and...
If you'd like, you can share that story here. I don't see why this thread can't turn into a car repair horror story thread. :D
You can "what if" any situation. What if Winchester loads a round too hot and my gun blows up and I lose a hand? Granted, they have more lawyers than I do, but really the chances of me screwing up a...
You're right jocko, but why take the risk? I'll still do his oil and trans for him, but I don't think I'll be touching his brakes again. I know what I'm doing, but why risk it.

Guys, I didn't even THINK about this happening...Thanks for pointing it out to me. Looks like I'm done changing brakes for anyone but myself. Bawanna, I've got a new book I think you should check...
I was doing my neighbor's brakes for him today and we got to talking about guns. He works in IT and I always thought he had no interest in guns at all. He said he had one and I asked him what he had....
I hadn't thought about the trigger bar thing. As you said, it's only $10 to find out. I probably won't do it anytime soon, but I'll report in when I do.
Firstly, welcome to the forum! You'll quickly realize that all of us thread jack(steal a thread to post whatever you want), it's not meant as disrespect, it's just our thing lol.
You'll soon see...
Here's something I found a bit ago for 1911's, it adds rubber finger grooves and goes on under the grips you already have. I wonder if it could be cut somehow to fit on Kahrs, maybe the larger models...
I think this is a good idea. I don't know if it will help, but it sure can't hurt!
That's one advantage I have with being young. I can still see the .380 and 9mm rounds I load into my ppk/s, T9, and Sig. :D I digress though, when carrying my Gov't 1911 there is a certain sense of...
I've got a T9 and hate the mags as well. I'm always losing rounds in my pockets/bags/mag pouches. Great guns, terrible mags. I really hope they come out with better mags. I'll still keep my T9...
I learn something new everyday! Thanks Bawanna and CJB.
Shame ya can't buy it Bawanna. It's a great gun, not a bad price either. When you come visit we'll take mine out. :D:D
A few years back I was sitting on the throne reading a book. My younger brother knocks on the door and says, "um, there's a SWAT team in the back yard." Upper middle class neighborhood mind you. I...
That's just gorgeous! I already like to admire my T9 once a week as it is. A set up like that though...green with envy! I hope you can post some shooting videos when it's suppressed.

Sounds good. I'll email some more off right now.
I'm in northern Indiana, up by Lake Michigan near Valparaiso. If anyone else lives in the area, let me know. We'll go shooting!
Well, if you ever make it here to Indiana, be sure to look me up! I've got a spare room and a nice range to shoot at. Bring the kindle and I'll put the rest of the books on it too! Just sayin.

The 1911 is actually a Taurus. I know I know, not the nicest. But it's my first one and it works flawlessly, so I can't complain. Plus I got it for a screamin' deal. A lot of the components have been...
Yeah, it was a good time. Hopefully I'll get to go back within a few weeks.

These things happen after awhile in my experience. Rather than damage something by using adhesive, I'd just buy a new one. No need to risk using glue or anything.
And one more picture. Table O' Guns. :D :D :D
