I use sliders.
Leather and nylon.

It's easy to wear under any shirt.

I use a velcro belt so I can wear it with just about anything.

Holds it securely, easy to draw, easy to reholster one...

I have to agree, those that stick out don't look good and hampers the concealability of the weapon.
I'll stick with my 7+1 and an extra mag on my side or in my pocket.

The ball cap also keeps brass from deflecting off the barrier wall between lanes and coming down on the inside of your glasses.
