I like the way you think! (I've got both.)
ETA: They really serve different purposes.

Thanks, Greg. Lefty confirmed, on the other forum, that it's no-go.

Just bought a CT40. We're halfway through break-in, and it's working great. The only drawback is the 7-round factory mag. I'd rather carry a 8+1 (or even 9+1) than 7+1. Even if greater capacity is...
I've been too busy to work on it. However, it seems that Kahr has redesigned the extractor. . . .

Thanks. That's really good to hear. I've been so busy the last couple of months that I haven't been able to pursue this--but it has continued to bother me. Guess I'll email Jay next....

Just a caveat regarding lube: do NOT get/put anything in the striker channel (#7 in the photo above). Keep it dry.

"update extractor"? Does that mean that it has been redesigned?
Well, that wasn't the solution, after all. I'll replace the original springs and keep the new ones for spares.
I'll take another look at the sticky.
Rounds (this time, PMC Bronze) are still...
My guess: it's where the top finger of your support hand is supposed to go.
Yikes! It's a good thing they that they are cheap ($9/set). I've ordered one.
"Slip" is not the word I'd use. They fit, but are held snugly against the breech face. They will not simply drop...

I had considered limp-wristing as a culprit (I had been shooting an M&P Bodyguard before the CW380 and may have relaxed too much) and studiously avoided it during later...
I don't think this is the same problem discussed in the sticky. (For one thing, I never tried Fiocchi target ammo. . . .)
I got through the 200-round break-in without major incident; the next 300...
Along with possibly having to shoot from really awkward positions, that's the best argument I've heard for mounting a laser. (I've had a couple--but mostly felt that they were in the way. . . . Time...
Forgot to mention: Mag-guts has a combination product that adds two (!) rounds to the 9mm Shield mag.

The Lakeline product actually makes the mag longer; the Mag-guts does not.

In case the (empty) magazine doesn't drop free, you might find that gap useful: grab the floor plate and pull the mag free.

In response to the op, my CW380 has no problem with Fiocchi Extrema 90 gr. XTP.

I just got a CW380 (also to accompany a CM9). Cleaned/lubed it and went to the range. It shot the first 100 rounds (Independence 95 gr FMJ) without a problem. Then tried American Eagle 95 gr FMJ and...
