I have a PM9, but it's been failure free and is practically the same pistol.
I've owned eight and still have four, but this is my overall favorite.
I think this is my best looking pistol, but I do shoot it.
I have a CM45 which is basically the same pistol and don't have the problem. Let Kahr look at it and find out what's wrong.
Not for me. Out of fifteen pistols, SIG's, HK's, S&W's, etc and 5 1911's, my MK 40N is my most accurate handgun.
And I've been asking for an MK45 for years !!!
Good Point! I'm that practical carry guy who likes a thin grip. Maybe I'll find another MK40, which is my favorite Kahr.
Vickie also had problems racking a PM9. I ended up getting her a P3AT. She has little trouble racking the slide and shoots it pretty well at 15 to 25 feet.
I'm sorry to hear about your PM9 Problems. A PM9 was my first Kahr over twenty years ago, but it was stolen along with fourteen other pistols in 2011. This forum was kind enough to buy me another one...
For Home defense I use my HK USP 40. It's too big to carry and with 14 rounds is quite heavy, but it has excellent night sites. I could use my SIG220 as it's also large and has new night sites, but...
You added that 3 feet. I always shoot at twelve yards unless otherwise noted. I consider that the limit of defensive shooting.
Of my fifteen handguns only two are 40's - the MK40 and a HK USP 40 HDW. My PM9 pocket gun is the only 9mm. the rest are 45's which is my favorite caliber. I've been begging Kahr to build a MK45 for...
I have a MK40N and it's my favorite Kahr and probably my most accurate pistol. Hard to believe since it's so small and I can only get two fingers on the grip. I think it's the weight and balance of...
Couldn't have said it better. KAHR DOESN'T MAKE DOUBLESTACKS. That's why I buy them for carry.
As JohnR said - same as most forums. no problem.
The bottom row of 1911's are left to right: SIG C3, STI, Detonics, Kimber, and Springfield full size ultralight. The Springfield has an alloy frame and is about 10 oz lighter than a regular 1911....
All my pistols are mint. This picture is ten years old, and I sold the Ruger LCP and Kahr CW40, but added another HK compact 45 and a Kahr CM45. This leaves me with two nines [one not pictured] two...
My Detonics Combat Master compact 1911 doesn't have a grip safety. The SIG, STI, Kimber, and SA do of course.
I have had eight Kahrs in the last 12 - 15 years and currently have four. You're right about a Kahr being an excellent carry gun. Although I have fifteen pistols to choose from, all semis, I nearly...
Ooops, I should have said 2015. I would be turning 83 on Feb. 29, 2023 if there was one. Can I keep the "Good for you"?
When I got out of the flying for the Navy I went to work for Chevrolet as an engineer. It was okay, but I wanted more, so I went to law school at night and got my JD in 1977. I worked as a corporate...
Amen to that. My MK40N is my favorite of the eight Kahrs I've owned, but I favor the 45 ACP.
I don't remember anyone mentioning that tire. Mostly it's been the Continental summer tire, whatever it's called.
I gravitate to Michelin because that's the tire I mostly used on my race cars. I've used them on all my street cars too - Corvettes, F-Types, AMG's and BMW's, even my electric. I've heard that there...
Over almost thirty years I have owned eight Kahrs. Currently I have four - CM45, CW45, PM9, and my favorite a MK40. I carry for defense and five or six rounds are plenty - you can always carry a...
