might have put my foot in my mouth. IIRC, the feedramp is nickel plated.
it's the pic of the guide rod. The rod itself is perfect. It's only where the head is. I have pulled out pieces of metal that came off. Again, pic sucks!
Stainless steel guide rod? Other then...
Cool! I thought it was too low to matter. The rest of the feedramp is slick as slick can be... I polished it ;-) and feeding is never an issue - nor is anything else; love my Kahr.
I guess the...
it's really tough to get a good pic of either! The bottom of the feedramp on the shorter side is burred. It's been pushed up and if you drag your finger down the ramp you can feel the sharp raised...
bump?
guide rod wear at the beg end
I noticed that I have a piece of the very bottom of the feedramp that is in bad shape. I can't tell if a chunk got chipped off, or if it is just a result of something feeding poorly that made a burr...
I shot the Critical Defense rounds last time - I think they are 200gr. The CW ate them like candy, though they felt like they gave me more kick then the usual 230gr rounds that I shoot.
congrats! It's still working flawlessly and digesting anything I feed.
A couple more trips to the range since then, and ZERO failures of any kind!!! Accurate as hell and a joy to shoot. She's no target pistol, but does really well on the range! I did try some 180gr...

advance auto today - two for $7.
read the articles on this site on how to properly prep and clean her. I went further and read the how to's on common problems and repairs for the polymer guns, in the tech forums. I applied every...
check the spring inside to be sure it's in place and oriented properly.
I bought my CW45 in Feb of 2012. SE1781 is the serial number... dunno what it means?

don't read me wrong Jocko - I'm an ugly 6' 260lbs KAHR CHEERLEADER!!! But, shops and buddies all warned me against a Kahr and into anything else, so don't dismiss when someone posts that local shops...
I'm buying the story because it's what I have heard in my local stores. The first place that I went to look at one had a 9mm in stock, and before I told the guy what brand/model I was looking for,...
GREAT news - now let's see if we can do the same here in NJ!
I guess that's so we get 25 extra "me too, Bro" posts from all newbs, lol
Follow up: After those 200 rounds of WWB, I went back today and put a couple hundred more down her; all reloads this time. Not one hiccup!
While there, I shot a Sig 250 in 40 S/W... doesn't...
Range report - I put a couple hundred through the new trio, without a single hiccup. THANK YOU to those sharing this great info.
