For what it's worth, I measured the C.O.L on a couple of dozen factory loaded 124 gr +P Short Barrel Gold Dots and they consistently were at 1.123". These work well in my CM9.

I also trim my pistol cases using a Lee Trimmer before the 1st reload to true things up and usually get about 15% or so that have some brass shaved off.
