...found a website selling them for $235, had to grab one. This is my first Kahr that had zero malfunctions in its 200+ round break-in. Granted, I'm learning to shoot my cars and I have a bad habit...
The problem has been solved for a while, a rubber mallet solved it. I have been shooting and shooting the Kahr, it is a shooter. No more failures of any kind. I carry it depending on clothing,...
I normally don’t like DAO but the smooth as glass Kahr triggers I love. I short stroke it sometimes, just have to get used to it. I want another Kahr now, 9mm this time.
Another 150 rounds today, 100 230gr FMJ and 50 JHP 230gr. No hiccups, running smooth. Good enough for carry, mainly back-up.
I put 100 rounds today through the gun, 50 of WWB 230gr FMJ and 50 rounds of Gold Dot 230gr JHP with no issues. The slide came off and back on without issue as well. Odd but I think it's ready for...
Well, if not the plastic, it worked with the hammer. Since then, the slide had come off and on no issue. The happened only after the range time, though getting it back on was a pain, had to use the...
It looks to be issues with the plastic slide, not smooth at all but couldn't find another reason as to why I had to hammer the slide off and on. The plastic is crappy but there is a reason it is, an...
That's too bad lol I got it to come off and then had to hammer the fluck out of it to get the slide back on. I like the gun, it's not CZ, Glock or Hk but it is what it is.
Very good info, thank you TK!
Well, I finally got the slide off with the rubber mallet. WTF over?!
What is interesting is at one point during shooting, I saw the pin work its way out. The pin comes out almost too easy for a Kahr. I slips right out, very easy. Not my experience with past Kahr's.
Put the first 260 or so rounds through it today. It did good but got home to take it apart, clean it and the slide won't come off. I have researched, saw some ideas but nothing has worked. Such as...
Okay, good and bad folks. The CT45 broke in quite nicely, I fired 270 rounds today, one 7 round magazine lol I had maybe, 8-10 FTF's total and several times, slide would fail to lock open, which I...
...I did have a CW45 but its size made it difficult to shoot. Mainly due to my where my thumbs ride as I have large hands. I was getting FTF's, a lot so I took it to my LGS and they put 50 rounds...
I can understand the frustration of the OP, a quality gun, a combat gun should work out of the box, not break in necessary. Now I have around 40 handguns, Glocks, Sigs, HK, CZ, M&P's, etc, etc. I...
I'll look, I did get a new recoil spring today and was interesting was the difference in length between the two. The new one was at least 1/2 inch longer. I've had guns in the past in which once...
Ah yes, nose dive and nose up, both.
Standard failure to feed, round would not feed into the chamber. Happened with JHP and FMJ.
So, I'm 0 for 2 with my two new Kahrs (both used). My CW45 had all sorts of FTF today. My XDs shot like a champ, it has over 3000 rounds through it and is well broken in. I ordered a new recoil...
Very nice, I too had the 3.3 but always ended up carrying my 4.0, I like the extra barrel length for ammo. Nice pics!
...so, even though I had a bad experience with my P380, I liked the gun. Loved the smooth as glass trigger and being my shop had a used CW45 for a good price, I thought why not. If it has issues,...
The FNX 45 Tactical is still freaking expensive! They have come down in price, often seen between $1299-1399 but I picked mine up for $1099, the RMR was $500 ish. The only thing the FNX does better...
I think I tried at least 6 different brands yesterday, all failed. I have two new 6 round mags on the way, along with another 7 round. I'll start from there.
Thank you for the info guys, I'll start with my mag and go from there. I have to order the 6 rounds mags as there are none to be found locally. I do like this gun, so I'll keep trying to fix it. ...
...so I just purchased my first Kahr, a P380. It replaced my Sig 238 which was stolen from my car a few weeks ago while I was in Afghanistan. Anyway, it is used so all things that come with a used...
