These are good points to consider (especially Mickey D's :-). I know with my PM I am pretty particular when it comes to cleaning, oiling, preventative stuff, etc... but it IS a defensive, concealable...

Here's my real list of differences between the two, it's not just looks. Both serve well though...

PM9 = Polygonal rifling
CM9 = Conventional rifling

PM9 = Machined slide release
CM9 =...

The exterior slide machining is different. The PM is smoothed out, better engraving. The CM is certainly a fine pistol but there are differences. Depends on the $$$ you want to spend.
