  1. Finally got to shoot a Chiappa Rhino yesterday

The older gentleman in the lane next to me had a Chiappa Rhino 30DS---the 3" version. It's one of my unicorn guns, and his was the nickel .357 Magnum version, the exact one I want. I would never ask...
  2. My old reliable CW380 hasn't been so reliable lately

I've taken my CW380 to the range a few times in the past couple of months. First time was after carrying it a lot and not shooting it for about six months. It experienced lots of failure to feed...

I don't understand why Kahr just doesn't sell these as a set, pre-mated to each other.

I use the pad of my finger when shooting Kahrs, but when I shoot my revolver in DA, I use the joint. The difference in trigger pull weight and travel makes the difference for me. My Kahrs' pull...

It would be nice if magazines went on sale. $44 for a CW380 magazine seems like a bit much to me.

I am very leery about depending on MagGuts in my carry pistol, TBH. I would much rather just carry either the Kahr factory extended magazine, or, better yet, carry a K9 or a T9 mag as a spare....
  7. Galloway Precision has a "quick sear" in prototype, and are designing a trigger

I happen to love the stock Kahr trigger, and don't want anything different----but this is addressing a major complaint consumers seem to have with the Kahr design. Galloway calls it a "game...

The Sneaky Pete might be an acceptable option for a very small pistol, like a CW380 or a LCP---but pocket carry would work better. Putting a pistol the size of a CW9 in a Sneaky Pete is going to look...

To answer your question, no. The Premium pistols and the Value Line pistols are functionally the same. I have pistols from all three Kahr lines(third being the stainless) and they all work...

Have you taken any classes and shown up with your Urban Carry? I've never seen anyone----anyone----recommend the Urban Carry as a legit carry option.

A Kydex holster for the CW9 will likely be a problem with the S9, because Kydex is molded to the exact firearm, and the rail on the S9 won't fit. In a leather holster, sure, but Kydex is unforgiving.
  13. It's been over 6 months since the MK9 got out

I have too many pistols and not enough time to shoot all of them. I know, what a problem, right? Yesterday was the MK9's turn in the rotation, and the darned little thing impresses me every time....

I am no longer the owner of a CW45. I traded it and now own a 3rd Generation S&W 4516. Not a huge pistol, but all steel and Commander sized. It weighs a ton and has Hogue rubber grips, so I figure...

I was born in 1970. My hands have taken a beating from decades of repetitive stress---work related, lifting weights, racing road bicycles, etc. I've had bouts of carpal tunnel, "trigger finger",...

It's the cosmetic things you mentioned. Trigger is the same. You can make your T9 much shinier than the Elite with some Mother's Mag polish and elbow grease.

I think if Kahr made a K45 or a T45---Commander or Govt' Model sized---recoil wouldn't be an issue. I used to have a Glock 30. Recoil wasn't bad on that one, either. The CW45 is very thin, and I...

I am honestly disappointed with my CW45

I put another 50 rounds through my used CW45 yesterday. That brings my round count up to 150. I do not know how many rounds its actually fired, but since it was assembled incorrectly when I bought...

I wouldn't replace anything if the pistol is functioning. Most people don't shoot very much at all. P9s are in the "carried a lot, shot a little" category.

T45 would definitely find a home with me. That would put it about Colt Commander sized, which is a good size and weight for a .45.

But my suspicion is we never see another new Kahr again. They've...
