Had issues with HSTs hollow points with PM45 switched to hornady critical defense and worked without issues that's another option just in case :)

I wipe hoppies #9 lubricating oil on the frame of my black k9 and stainless pm9 seems to do the trick afrer it's been cleaned with lead away once.

Did you try wrapping just the right amount of lead away on a 9mm brass brush? Dont need much just cut a small piece and reuse the other side, it should last long

get a LE trade-in K9 instead, it's the MK9 (steel frame) with the 7 round mag extention and slightly longer barrel. cheaper too.
