I know I said earlier that I wouldn't comment but...the PM9 is all cleaned up and back in the gun safe, where it will stay this time.
To all those with any kind of problem with your CM9 or PM9,...
I think they are...I sent an email to Doug Williams with a read receipt. I got the receipt that my message was displayed on his computer so I guess someone is monitoring his computer. ;)
Thanks but I already know that. ;)
The nut is not stripped.
I refuse to use a band aid repair remedy for a carry gun.
I agree but I'm not going to comment any further. :(
The last time I fired my PM9 was 6.29.13. This was after it came back from Kahr for the feed ramp modification.
I had a range trip planned for today so I figured I would take the PM9 and fire 100...
It is because most new buyers will come to a site like this before buying a new gun to research the gun they are considering.
I did in 2011 before I bought my PM9 and felt comfortable enough then...
My point exactly!!!
That's why my G27 has gone back to being my EDC gun. It has never failed me...never. :D
Hang in there. As many have already said, it is very treatable today.
I have two neighbors, both older than I, who went thru this a couple of years ago. Both are alive and doing well right now.
One...
It would take the PM9 to function 100% and NOT break a single part.
Yes, one mag that broke a follower without me realizing that it had, gave me feeding problems while on the range.
I couldn't...
There is nothing low about the MSRP of $958 for my PM9 all black w/night sights.
For nearly a grand on a carry gun one should expect more.
I really like my PM9, I only wish I could trust it.
I...
Keep the faith muggsy, things will get better, they can't get any worse. :)
I'm in the same situation, sort of. My Brother, a retired LEO as am I, is looking at either a CM9 or PM9 for another smaller carry gun.
We both normally carry our G27s.
I have explained the issues...
I have experienced three broken followers with my PM9...not all at once but over a 300+ rd. period.
The first one I contacted Kahr CS and they sent me a couple of new followers, three as I recall....
This 229 is a SIG CPO. I don't know what they might have done to it at SIG but whatever it was, it couldn't have been much, the internals look new.
I'm going to contact SIG CS and ask for the date...
I don't think many would miss that liberal **** hole if that did happen.
It's great when the system works as it should. ;)
NC based Civitas Media wants to build a state by state database on CCW holders similar to what was done in New York in 2012.
...
The title line about says it but here's the article.

So, my P229 came into my FFL yesterday and I picked it up this morning.
This pistol is like NIB!
It came with everything a new SIG would come with except for the plastic SIG carry case.
My FFL...
But the question is...will they do anything to solve the problem permanently with new pistols?
First, they have to admit there is a problem
Unfortunately I think not! :(
It has been said...There are lies, damned lies and statistics. ;)
It certainly is a "free country" for those who vote for a living rather than working for a living.
Thank that POS Obama for that!
Unless I'm missing it on their web site, I don't think so.
Their LW 1911 guns are aluminum frames.
