Finally got around to making this one working for me.

I usually run the flush fit magazine baseplates from pm9/mk9 on 7 round mags and it works great for me.

Sportsman’s Wharehouse has P9’s for $370. Not sure if it’s a local thing only. Just an fyi.

There’s a handful of new ones on gunbroker right now at a decent price.

Had a cw40 that really didn’t tickle my fancy. Found a complete P9 upper, barrel, and rsa for about $190. Stoked about putting it on the cw40 frame.

I think the elite t9 has a textured front strap. The exact reason I’m holding out for the elite

Converting my cw40 to 9mm. The polymer mag release seems ok, other than with the 8 round mag with extension.

Been out of the Kahr circle for a while. Are the 9mm’s all shipped with metal mag releases for the polymer frames?

Putting the front sight on a hard wooden surface like the edge of a table and pushing down, to manually rack the slide works too. Obviously don’t do it on your dining room table.....

Do you own a rubber mallet?

Id give it a good whack across the rear sights. As long as your p9 has steel sights you can also do it on the front. Obviously, whack from muzzle end to rear
