Hi,
Looking at the PM9. Dealer has one with the night sights. It's about $125 more than the standard sights. Worth it? Is accuracy any better with the three dot system? How bright are these...
I'll second that! I also have xn XD40sc with not a single issues after 500 rounds in both. I'm still intrigued by the PM9.
Hi,
I don't own either one yet, but after doing research it seems that the PM9 had fewer complaints than the P380. Are there folks out there that have owned both? Is this true? Is the trigger...
Actually, they are. I've had my share of dealing with 300lb BGs in my career. Also, if any of these guys are on PCP, you feel like you are dealing with a super human.
I asked my LGS to try and find a PM9 with two six round mags because of what I have read about the extended ones.
NYPD = One department they could never have payed me enough to work for.
Thanks
I've been hearing and reading a lot of misinformation on the subject. So here is the truth. It's more like Kahr dropped NYPD.

I agree, plenty of LEO carry the Kel Tec P3AT here off duty, even in the winter. I remember years ago I carried a J frame .38 with heavy loaded +P, a spare speedloader and always felt under-gunned. ...
Around here only a few. They mostly always buy Glocks and Kel-tecs (:der:). A few buy Sigs and some older cops have J frame revolvers.
I'm afraid I will be Beta testing when the 938 first comes out. If it functions reliably, it's going to be a good seller though and will take sales away from the p238.
I never carried a SA in a pocket either. My friend and LGD wasn't crazy about that idea either. The Sig forums seem to think it's a non issue with the right pocket holster.
Yep the Sig p238 had issues its first year, but complaints now are very rare. They change the recoil springs and mags and solved the previous issues. At least that's what they all say.
I wish I had a Seecamp already. That would make the decision for the PM is cinch. I can't afford both. I'm not crazy about pocket carry either except as a BUG or if I'm walking the "mean" streets. ...
:cheer2: for Sig P238SAS. I see you own one. I've pretty much ruled out the P380 and I think the MK9 is a bit heavy. So it's probably between those two. I can probably get the Sig for less with my...
Thanks, haven't the PM9s been around now for 10 years. That is time tested if you ask me.
Thanks, but from everything I have read you have been more the exception rather than the rule. Also, 500 rounds of ammo to get a gun to work properly is excessive and expensive.
Same here, my 50 year old eyes see Mepros better, but Big Dots the best.
My friend and LGD highly recommends the blackened slide for a carry gun. His is about a year old with no visible wear. Not shot that much, but carried every day last summer.
Hi,
I still haven't committed to the PM9, MK9 or P380 for a BUG and summer carry. I was thinking of a P380 as an alternative to the Seecamp .380 for pocket carry. I have however been reading...
Hi,
Thinking of putting them on my soon to be ordered PM9. I'm 50 so my eyes aren't great. I have them on my XDs and like them. Just wondering if they will hinder pocket carry. I can barely see...
All of Kahrs 9mms "in general" are the most reliable. After all, that's where they started. I I would get the PM9 which is possibly their #1 seller. I personally decided against the .380 after a...
I love my Big Dots on my XDs. Accurate enough to easily pass a LEO qualification course with an XD45C and these sights. Planning on ordering a PM9 with them installed from the factory.
I'm a complete newbie here, but not to handguns and that's my impression as well. You will not find many more reliable .380s than the Kahr. You will read bad stories abut all of them The Seecamp,...
