Gotcha. Thanks for the link.
Or a CW9 in a CM9? Kinda like you can buy a Glock 19 barrel and it will fit in a Glock 26. It would leave 1/2" of barrel sticking out of the slide.
It looks just like the one in this blog:

I swapped frames and put my wife's CW9 frame on my CT9 slide, so it's basically the same thing you saw at that pawnshop. Of course now my wife has a taller grip on her CW9 slide but she doesn't carry...
Took my hybrid out today and put 114 rounds through it without a hitch. 30 of those were the HST 147gr +P's I plan to carry in it. Now the next thing is to take my wife's hybrid out and put a few...
I bought a CT9 the other day. Wife has a CW9 she's had for a while and it is 100% reliable. I wanted to cut the grip of the CT9 down to CW9 length and still have the 4" barrel. Set out measuring...
My wife's CW9 is stoked with 124gr +P HST.
No doubt about it. I was just trying to be detailed in my reply to the other guy; not bashing Kahr's trigger at all. After all, the Glock 23 is in the safe now! ;)
Thanks Wynn, I'll be on that in the AM!
I noticed a little printing of the butt end of the grip with a T-shirt on if I leaned forward at all, even though the gun itself is quite comfortable to...
Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking. I too have Glocks, and like them. I just feel the ergonomics of the Kahr pistols, especially the TP series, is superior. Trigger-wise I'd have to give the...
Where do you get the metal baseplate from?
Seems less snappy, likely due to the grip angle difference. The Glock has a less natural pointability, therefore I'd have to say that the Kahr would be a little quicker in double taps. YMMV.
...
They absolutely do!
I have had a chance to compare the TP with my P40 side-by-side. I found that although it feels like a full grip on the P, my little finger is actually resting on the plastic...
For starters, I'm NOT going to cut the grip length down. It feels great in the hand. It's a tad (maybe 1/2" at most) taller than a Glock 23, but that's because of the grip angle; the Kahr is much...
Correct. Having had to send my CW45 back to Kahr I already planned on breaking in the TP and THEN do my cutting.
I think that's what I'm gonna do, just size it for the standard P40 mag (7rd).
I was thinking of measuring south from the mag release at the front and back of the grip on my P40 and transposing...
Mine too. Went back to Kahr and as soon as it got back I put 100rds of various ammo through it at one sitting: HST, HST +P, Gold Dot SB loads, Cor Bon 185gr +P, some old Magsafes, and WWB. No more...
I've got a new TP40 on the way. I don't care for the obscenely long grip; would seem the P40's grip would be easier to CCW. Sooooo........I'm thinking about cutting the grip to accept the P40 mags...
Can't go wrong with Federal HST. Velocity threshold for expansion is low enough to include the CW's short barrel.
Thanks for the pic! That is exactly what I was looking for!
Would a straight milling off of that "tab" on the TP barrel work? It looks like the TP feedramp is more centered and the P is more...
My intent would've been to just buy a TP40 barrel from Kahr, not the whole gun.
Crap! I suspect that if it is a differently cut barrel in the 9mm series then I bet it is the same in the .40's.
Kinda like how a Glock 23 barrel will work in a Glock 27. I would like to give my P40 full-sized, 4" ballistics but retain the P40's shorter slide and grip. That extra 1/2" of barrel sticking out is...
I lean towards HST in 9/40/45. Namely the heavy-for-caliber loads, i.e. 147/180/230 respectively. Federal cuts the skivves on the bullet (which form the "petals" of the expanded bullet) all the way...
Put 100 rounds through it today. About half were WWB 230gr FMJ and the other half a mix of HST +P, standard pressure HST, Gold Dot Short Barrel, and a few old MagSafe frangible loads.
No trigger...
