A pin would not work in those; they have to be twisted/flexed in order to install. The nice thing about them, is that they are the smallest grips made.

I am betting that those bushings were installed with RED LOCTITE. Try heating next set like that.

Not sure why lighter may be better. However Sig's fix for accidental discharges on P320 was to install LIGHTER trigger.
