I don't think y'all are following the question. Flip it end to end without rolling it over. I'm asking if it matters which end is up, not which way it faces.

On the 7 rounder does it matter which end is on top. I can't tell any difference in the two ends. THe end of the wire may be bent down just slightly on one end. I used that on the bottom.

I'm going to have to investigate how the release works a little more. Not sure if the problem would be more with the mag or the gun itself. The 6 rounder drops free well enough but the main problem...
